Skopje is the capital of the Republic of Macedonia and our hometown. Being able to live in this city for few decades, I can easily notice the change regarding the accessibility for people with disabilities during the last couple of years. Although there are many things that still need to be improved, for travelers with disability interested to visit Skopje, there are places that can be reached with wheelchair.

Public Transportation, JSP Skopje
In Skopje, the public transport is operated by the enterprise, JSP. In 2011, with the renewal of the bus fleet, almost all old buses were replaced with new, wheelchair accessible buses. Unfortunately, very shortly after that many of the ramps were broken and cant be used. From my personal experience, if the ramp is not working, other passengers and bus driver would assist you.
Millennium Cross Vodno and Cable Car
To reach Millennium Cross, you can take wheelchair accessible bus from Transporten Centar Skopje. The Cable cars in Vodno, are wheelchair accessible.
Airport Alexander the Great
Since 2011, in function is new airport, Alexander the Great which abides according to the regulations for people with reduced mobility.
The Intercity bus station
The Intercity bus station provides connections to many different locations in Macedonia and abroad. Unfortunately, the premises at the bus station (toilets) are not wheelchair accessible.
